Decision and Order No. 22490 was filed on May 26, 2006 in Docket No 05-0075. This Order modified KIUC’s integrated resource plan (IRP) and demand side management (DSM) framework to reflect the utility’s name change to Kaua`i Island Utility Cooperative (KIUC) and increased the filing threshold under paragraph 2.3.g.2 of G.O. No. 7 from $500,00 to $2.5 million. This Order also lifted the suspension of IRP and DSM filings as set forth in Docket No. 6617, Order No. 20957. Furthermore, this Order closed Docket No. 05-0075. A new order would be issued in a new and separate proceeding to investigate KIUC’s IRP efforts.

Order No. 22542 opened Docket No. 2006-0165 to examine KIUC’s IRP efforts in its next IRP cycle. KIUC, in consultation with the CA was required to file its IRP schedule for its 3rd IRP consistent with the IRP Framework.

Order No. 22529 was filed on June 13, 2007 in Docket No 96-0266. This Order approved the Parties Stipulation to Close Docket in Lieu of Evidentiary Hearings and Commission Action in the proceeding and closed the docket. In the Stipulation the Parties recognized that significant developments occurred since KIUC filed it’s 2nd IRP and Action Plans, since the IRP proceedings were intended to look forward and the 5-year period covering the 2nd IRP had concluded, the Parties agreed, among other things, that the 2nd IRP be accepted for informational purposes and that the docket should be closed.
