The Commercial Demand Side Management (DSM) Program is designed to encourage commercial customers to reduce consumption in their facilities. Through an energy survey of the facility a KIUC representative will identify cost effective energy saving opportunities. Available to customers on commercial rates. An analysis report will detail the findings of the survey and contain recommendations for energy saving modifications. Commercial customers may qualify for financial incentives for all or part of the modifications, which may include equipment upgrades, energy management systems and efficient lighting applications. Facility modifications are implemented through a series of qualified trade allies, which include equipment suppliers, installation contractors and lending institutions. Project management is also available for small and medium size commercial customers who may not have the resources of securing bids and overseeing their projects. Schedule “G” commercial customers are eligible for no cost installation of energy saving compact fluorescent bulbs
