What it is…

As an electric utility, one of KIUC’s primary functions is to provide reliable, high quality electric power to its members. But, as a member-owned cooperative, KIUC’s responsibility to its member/owners goes beyond traditional investor-owned utility services. Co-opportunities provides services that allow KIUC, a Cooperative, to take advantage of Opportunities to assist its members with a variety of needs beyond simply providing electricity.

Co-opportunities Energy Services encompass many facets of our member’s needs by providing:

• Energy Wise: Residential and Commercial energy-efficiency programs.

• A commercial key accounts program.

• An Enhanced Services Program (ESP) that provides technical assistance to KIUC commercial members.

• Information on renewable energy and related KIUC renewableenergy project activity.
